The 1.4-liter Suzuki K14B gasoline engine has been produced by the Japanese concern since 2010 and is installed on many popular compact models such as Swift, Baleno and Ertiga. This motor is actively installed on cars of the Chinese company Changan with the JL473Q1 index.

The cylinder head is securely fastened to the engine block using bolts that require precise torque specifications. These threads must maintain a strong seal, preventing leaks and ensuring the head gasket's effectiveness. Located within the cylinder head, valve springs ensure that the valves return to their closed position after being opened by the camshaft action, maintaining proper sealing of the combustion chamber.
